Week7:

This past week at Fauntleroy, the framers finished framing the interior of the house and installed the windows and exterior doors. The roofers came and installed the roof and the Solartube sun tunnel in the kitchen. A Solartube is a device that allows natural light in but looks like a recessed light instead of your standard skylight. The plumber, electrician, and HVAC company will begin doing their rough-ins (weather permitting).

Week 6:

This week at Fauntleroy, the framers continued to frame the interior walls. They will be swinging the trusses at the start of next week.

Week 5:

This week the framing began. The exterior walls and the floor joists have been built. This week the framing will continue.

Week 4:

This week the basement walls were poured and the ground was prepped for the slabs to be poured.

Week 3:

This week at Fauntleroy, the basement was dug out and the footers and walls were poured.

Week 2:

This week we continued to clear the lot. We were set back a few days due to the rain, but we should be digging the basement out and pouring the walls the week of the 16th.

WEEK 1:

This week at Fauntleroy, we started clearing the lot for the house and the drainfield. The picture to the left shows the lot before any clearing was started. As you scroll down, you will see what has been cleared.

We will be digging the basement out over the next few days and will begin pouring the basement walls on Wednesday November 11, 2009.
